The New York Times insists on double-spacing the text of its articles in "printer" format. This makes the printed output much longer than it needs to be.
If you give this utility the URL of one of the Times "print" format pages, it will remove the <style> tags from the page. Typically, this will cause the page to print in about 2/3 the number of pages than it would otherwise have done.
